Walk the Ancient Queen of Roads – A Four-Day Journey on the Via Appia

Step back in time along the legendary Via Appia, the ancient Roman road that once connected Rome to Southern Italy — a timeless route of merchants, soldiers, and travelers.
Today, walking its age-old stones means experiencing history with every step, surrounded by stunning coastal landscapes, ancient ruins, and charming medieval towns.

From Terracina to Minturno, each day reveals a new story: temples and villas ruins next to the sea, cobbled streets, and the authentic flavors of southern hospitality.
This is not just a trip — it's an immersive journey through history, nature, and culture, designed for those who want to live the past, not just observe it.

The Itinerary

Day 1 – Terracina
Trek along the ancient Appian Way inside the old city and visit the Temple of Jupiter Anxur, overlooking the sea.

Day 2 – Funds
Cycle the Appia from Itri to Fondi, explore the old town, and enjoy a themed aperitif as in a traditional “ancient roman taberna.”

Day 3 – Formia
Discover the Gianola Natural Park and the Villa of Mamurra where nature and heritage are perfectly mixed, then enjoy an urban trek and a fun interactive dinner.

Day 4 – Minturno
Take part in a lively guided tour of the Minturnae Archaeological Park, join a writing a wax tablet workshop, and stroll through the medieval village.
